Breathpod
From defining animation and motion principles to refining the app and web experience, I worked to bring visual clarity and consistency. I also led the creative direction for content, working on original photo, video, and social assets to build an experience that feels calm, curated, and connected.
Task
Transform Breathpod from a personal-led breathwork platform into a scalable brand by building a unified design system across app, web, and social. Create a visual identity and content framework that feels calm, premium, and credible while encouraging daily engagement.
Challenge
The existing platform lacked a clear brand voice. The design language was inconsistent across channels, and the brand’s emotional connection with its audience was weak. We needed to create a cohesive identity while working within the technical limitations of mobile platforms.
Solution
Delivered a unified visual system centred around the “B‑dot” symbol, paired with a gradient-led palette and Helvetica Neue for clarity. Designed app UI, social templates, and a motion toolkit that positioned Breathpod as a modern wellness brand. Engagement on social improved, and the brand established a distinct visual voice that stood apart from competitors.
Mobile App
App Visual Direction
There were some restrictions with the mobile platform, and my challenge was to find a way to bring the brand to life within those limitations. I focused on using imagery—adding a calm, cinematic feel to create a more premium and relaxed experience. The result led to more community engagement and helped shape a clearer direction for the brand overall.
I carefully selected colours for each breathwork category to enhance clarity and user experience, and incorporated the dot element from the logo as a unifying symbol across all content.

Social Media Design System
I created a design system for social media to bring more consistency across content. One of the key ideas was introducing ‘Breath Covers’—a subtle breathing gradient using brand colours, paired with a small side dot inspired by the app’s interface. Finding the right direction with the team was challenging at first, but it taught me a lot. I learned how to build the right design—not just something that looks good. It was also when I started thinking more clearly about how to design for communication, not just for visuals.
